DiffusionSMB exists to bring real, working AI to the “last mile” of small businesses — the point where technology meets the people answering phones, greeting patients, and keeping the day moving.
Our Job is Simple:
Turn AI from a buzzword into something that actually shows up in your calendar, your patient experience, and your bottom line.
The name Diffusion comes from modern diffusion models in AI — systems that start with a noisy, unclear image and iteratively refine it until every detail is sharp. That’s what we aim to do for your practice: take the noise of chaotic calls, inboxes, and tools, and turn it into a clear, manageable flow of work your team can actually handle.
DiffusionSMB was founded by Blake Wettstein, who has spent years at the intersection of business operations and technology.
After working with multiple teams and owners across different industries, Blake kept seeing the same pattern:
• Front-line teams buried in calls, emails, and follow-ups.
• Owners frustrated by missed opportunities and manual processes.
• “AI” tools that looked cool in a demo but didn’t plug into real workflows
Blake started DiffusionSMB with a simple belief:
Small businesses deserve the same AI leverage as big companies — without needing an in- house engineering team.
Blake has spent 10 years in sales and 15 years building and scaling global HR operations. At Ingram Micro he led HR and talent technology programs across 54 countries, eliminating up to 80% of manual onboarding work and saving tens of thousands of hours a year through platforms like Workday, SAP Fieldglass, Jobvite, and Power BI.
Over the last two years he’s gone deep on modern AI so he can help companies implement it on their own terms—especially where real people and real-world workflows are involved. His approach is simple: listen carefully to the people who will use the system every day, then design the technology to make their jobs easier.
“I started DiffusionSMB because I kept seeing the same thing: smart, caring practice owners stuck doing work that software should be doing for them.
My goal is not to replace your team. It’s to give them leverage — and to give you back time and opportunities you’re already earning but not fully capturing.
If you’re curious what AI could look like in your practice, I’d love to show you in a quick demo.”
